So-called Black Friday was not too bad at the store I needed to hit this morning: Home Depot. My contractor was hounding me to pick up doorknobs, plus a few other items, to complete certain tasks this week, so instead of getting them Wednesday night (because I was still too woozy after the *twilight sleep* anesthesia from that morning) I got up at 5:55am, tossed on some grubby sweats, a knit cap and parka and head out under cover of darkness to the shopping center. There was plenty of parking; I was shocked to see that the Costco next door did not open early today, so the crowds were sparse. I got most everything on my list, but forgot to bring the items I was set to return. So, now I have to make another trip over there, but I think I am going to wait until next week to deal with another shopping center adventure.

Mau cerita ttg rumahku, meskipun statusnya masih ngontrak, tapi paling tidak sudah naik "kelas" - ga numpang lagi di tempat mertua!!! *say Alhamdulillah* Seperti yg pernah Berawal info dari Dewi, klo di rumah itu-pengontraknya akan segera pindah Desember ini, cepat saja tanya ke Pak Samsul (pemilik rumahnya). Hubby langsung action....(walaupun masih minta temenin Tanto untuk nego ke P.Samsul),tanya ke P. Samsul,yah..ternyata rumah ini kontrakannya akan diperpanjang....Lho, mana yg bener nih, Dewi bilang ga diperpanjang, akhirnya huby minta tolong Dewi, tanyain itu rumah sebenarnya diperpanjang apa ga? dan akhirnya P.Samsul tanya langsung ke pengontrak, dan akhirnya.....Dewi yg bener, rumah itu ga diperpanjang kontraknya. At least, kamilah pengontrak selanjutnya.... Harga kontraknya per tahun Rp.2 juta. Menurutku sih mahal banget, dg harga segitu tapi ga berpagar, dengan pertimbangan sudah lama cari kontrakan dan ga dapat2, ya udah....diambil aja kesempatan ini. Jadilah rumah itu... (more)
